Trekking Highlights:

"Manaslu Round Trek" is an adventurous and culturally enriching experience that circumnavigates some of the most spectacular peaks in the Himalayas, including Peak 29 (7,871m), Himal-Chuli (7,893m), and Boudha (6,672m). This trek offers a unique opportunity to explore the rich Tibetan influence in the region, alongside insights into the cultures of ethnic Nepalese tribes practicing Hinduism and Buddhism.

The trek features the challenging crossing of the Larkya-La Pass (5,160m), followed by a descent to the Marshyangdi River. After completing the trek, you'll travel to Besisahar and then drive back to Kathmandu.

Manaslu, standing at 8,163 meters (26,783 feet), is the eighth highest mountain in the world. Located close to the border with Tibet, around 100 km (62 miles) northwest of Kathmandu, the area was a restricted zone until the early 1990s. Although it has become more accessible, it still requires special permits issued by the Nepalese government.

The trek offers a mix of quiet trails, simple villages, and stunning scenery, making it one of the classic yet less-traveled adventures in the Himalayas. Starting from Arughat in Dhading, you will traverse lush green lower lands and pass through various ethnic villages along the Buri Gandaki River. The trail then crosses the Larkya La Pass (5,213m) and Rupina La (4,450m), providing remarkable panoramas of the peaks on the Nepal-Tibet border and the Manaslu range, including Himal Chuli, Manaslu, Cheo Himal, and Himlung Himal.

Descending from Larkya La, the trek continues into the heavily forested valley of the Marsyangdi River, beneath the towering Annapurna range, until reaching the road head at Besisahar.
