1Day 01-Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to respective hotels
Upon your arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, one of our representatives will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel.
In the evening, we will hold an orientation session where you’ll have the chance to meet your fellow group members. This will be followed by a briefing about your upcoming adventure, all while enjoying an authentic Nepali dinner. It’s the perfect way to kick off your journey and immerse yourself in the local culture!
2Day 02-Kathmandu sightseeing and prepare for the trek
Enjoy a free day in Kathmandu, starting with a half-day guided tour of two incredible UNESCO World Heritage Sites. We’ll visit Pashupatinath, a sacred Hindu temple, and then head to Bouddhanath to see the magnificent Buddhist stupa, one of the largest in the world.
In the afternoon, you’ll have time to explore at your own pace. This is a great opportunity to prepare for your trek and climb, whether that means shopping for gear, exploring local markets, or simply relaxing and soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of the city.
3Day 03-Fly to Lukla 2,820 m and trek to Phakding 2,650 m - 04 hrs.
Early this morning, after breakfast, you will transfer to Kathmandu Domestic Airport for a short, scenic 35-minute flight to Lukla, the gateway to Everest and the Khumbu region. Upon arrival, you’ll have a brief opportunity to refresh before meeting your guide, trekking staff, and porters.
From Lukla, we’ll begin our trek along an easy path, enjoying views of Kwangde Peak and the villages of Muse and Chowri Kharka. The trail features a few gentle ups and downs as we follow the Dudh Kosi River, passing through the villages of Choplung and Ghat.
We’ll continue until we reach Phakding, where we’ll settle in for the night. Enjoy a delicious dinner and rest well, preparing for the exciting days ahead!
4Day 04-Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m - 06 hrs
Wake up early in the morning to a pleasant environment and enjoy a hearty breakfast. Today’s trek takes us through beautiful woodlands filled with pine and rhododendron trees, featuring gentle ups and downs. We’ll be treated to stunning views of Kusum Khanguru, Kwangde, and Tharmasarku peaks.
As we cross a bridge over the Dudh Kosi River, we’ll make our way to Monjo and then to Jorsalle, where we’ll stop for lunch after entering Sagarmatha National Park.
Following lunch, we’ll trek along the riverbed for a while before heading uphill through the forest to cross the final bridge over the Imja and Bhote Kosi rivers, where they converge with the Dudh Kosi.
The trail then becomes a long, winding uphill climb, offering our first glimpses of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse on clear days. This climb finally leads us to Namche Bazaar, the vibrant gateway to the Everest region.
Upon arrival in Namche, we’ll check into one of the comfortable lodges, allowing you to rest and relax for the night. Enjoy the ambiance of this bustling village as you prepare for the adventures ahead!
5Day 05-Rest day
Namche Bazaar is a fantastic location for rest and preparation for the next leg of our trek. Today, you have the option for a short hike to a nearby viewpoint, which offers breathtaking vistas of the surrounding peaks, including Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Tharmasarku, Kwangde, and the sacred Khumbi-la Peak.
Additionally, we’ll visit the local museum, which provides valuable insights into the region's flora and fauna, geography, and the rich history, culture, and religion of the Sherpa people.
This acclimatization day is essential for adjusting to the altitude while soaking in the stunning views and learning about the unique heritage of the Khumbu region. Enjoy your time in this vibrant mountain village!
6Day 06-Trek to Dingboche 4,530 m - 05 hrs.
After departing from Tengboche, our trek continues through cool woodlands, passing the settlement of Deuboche until we reach a bridge over the Imjatse River gorge. From this bridge, we’ll leave behind the last of the tree line and lush vegetation, embarking on a gradual climb adorned with rows of prayer flags, mani walls, and stupas, all while enjoying fantastic views of Ama Dablam.
As we progress, we’ll arrive at Pangboche, where we’ll encounter a short steep climb to Shomare, a small temporary village known for its lodges and teahouses— a popular lunch stop for trekkers heading to Dingboche and Pheriche, with close-up views of Ama Dablam.
After lunch, we’ll begin a slow ascent towards Orsho. Here, the trail becomes gentler, splitting into two paths: the higher trail leading to Pheriche and the lower path east toward Dingboche. We’ll take the lower route, crossing the icy Khumbu River tributary that connects to the Imjatse and Dudh Kosi rivers.
Next, we’ll tackle a steep climb for about 45 minutes to reach a ridge marked by prayer stones. From there, a pleasant walk brings us to Dingboche, a charming area surrounded by numerous lodges. This village is protected by stone walls and offers breathtaking views of the towering North Face of Ama Dablam, along with glimpses of Lhotse, Peak 29, and Island Peak to the east. It’s a perfect spot to rest and soak in the majestic surroundings!
7Day 07-Trek to Dingboche 4,530 m - 05 hrs.
After leaving Tengboche, we’ll walk through beautiful cool woodlands, passing the settlement of Deuboche before reaching a bridge over the Imjatse River gorge. From this bridge, we’ll say goodbye to the last of the tree line and lush vegetation, as the trail leads us on a gradual climb lined with prayer flags, mani walls, and stupas, all offering stunning views of Ama Dablam.
Continuing our journey, we’ll reach Pangboche, where we’ll encounter a short, steep climb to Shomare. This small temporary village serves as a lodge and teahouse, making it a popular lunch stop for trekkers on their way to Dingboche and Pheriche, with impressive views of Ama Dablam nearby.
After lunch, we’ll embark on a slow climb toward Orsho, where the path becomes gentler. Here, the trail splits: one path leads to the higher trail toward Pheriche, while we’ll take the lower path east toward Dingboche. This route crosses the icy tributary of the Khumbu River, which flows into the Imjatse and Dudh Kosi rivers.
Next, we’ll tackle a steep 45-minute climb to reach a ridge adorned with prayer stones. From this ridge, a pleasant walk brings us to Dingboche, a charming village surrounded by stone walls. Located in the southern Imjatse Valley, Dingboche offers breathtaking views of the towering North Face of Ama Dablam, as well as glimpses of Lhotse, Peak 29, and Island Peak to the east. It’s the perfect spot to relax and soak in the majestic Himalayan scenery!
8Day 08-Rest day at Dingboche for acclimatization and day hike
njoy a well-deserved rest day in Dingboche, where the pleasant environment invites relaxation and exploration. For those looking for a bit of adventure, you have the option to hike to Nangkartsang, a high hill that offers superb views of the surrounding snow-capped peaks, including the fifth highest mountain in the world, Mt. Makalu, and the stunning Amphu Labtsa peaks.
This hike is a fantastic opportunity to acclimatize while soaking in the breathtaking scenery of the Himalayas. Whether you choose to hike or simply relax and take in the views, this day is perfect for recharging your energy for the next leg of the trek. Enjoy your time in this beautiful mountain setting!
9Day 09-Trek to Lobuche 4,910 m via Thugla 4,640 m - 05 hrs.
After an early breakfast, we’ll begin our day with a gradual climb uphill toward a ridge adorned with prayer flags and a Buddhist stupa. The trail offers stunning views of the surrounding snow-capped peaks as we walk along a pleasant path, featuring both gradual ascents and descents.
Our journey will take us to Thugla (Dugla), where we’ll encounter raging streams fed by the Khumbu Glacier. This small settlement serves as a popular lunch stop, situated where the trails from Pheriche and Dingboche converge. We’ll take about an hour for lunch and to rest.
After our break, we’ll tackle a steep climb of less than an hour to reach the top ridge of Thug-la. Here, we’ll enjoy spectacular views of the north face of Ama Dablam, along with Tawache and Cholatse. This area is also notable for its memorials dedicated to late mountaineers who lost their lives while climbing Everest, Lhotse, Pumori, and other peaks in the region. It’s a poignant reminder of the challenges faced in these majestic mountains.
10Day 10-Trek to Gorakshep 5,153 m and hike to Kalapathar 5,545m
his morning, we’ll set out on our trek to Gorakshep and Kalapathar. The walk is gentle at first, following a small stream across the wide valley. As we approach the Glass Pyramid, a meteorological station operated by Italian and Nepalese scientists, the scenery becomes even more captivating.
From here, the trail steepens as we make our way uphill to the moraine with the Khumbu Glacier below. After a couple of hours of steady and challenging walking, we’ll arrive at Gorakshep, which has a few lodges. This area was once the base camp for climbers heading to Mt. Everest, nestled beneath Mt. Pumori and on the route to the current Everest Base Camp.
After a short break, we’ll continue our ascent with a less than two-hour climb to the viewpoint at Kalapathar (5,545 meters). This spot is renowned for its breathtaking panorama of the surrounding high mountains, with Everest looming majestically in the distance.
After soaking in the incredible views and taking plenty of photos, we’ll head back to Chukung for our overnight stop, resting up for the next adventure toward Island Peak (Imja Tse). It’s sure to be another unforgettable experience!
11Day 11-Trek to Island Peak Base Camp 4,970m - 04 hrs.
The route to Island Peak Base Camp begins with a steep ascent to the south before it levels out, following the moraine eastward along the main valley, situated below the southern (or true left) bank of the Lhotse Glacier.
As we trek, the path leads us alongside glacial streams, guiding us to the snout of the Imja Glacier. Here, the trail swings northeast, crossing a dried-up lake bed nestled between the Lhotse and Imja Glaciers. We’ll eventually reach our base camp at Pareshaya Gyab.
For those who are well acclimatized and in good physical condition, it is possible to make the summit of Island Peak and return to Base Camp in a single day. This challenging ascent promises stunning views and a sense of accomplishment that makes the effort worthwhile!
12Day 12-At Base Camp rest day for acclimatization and preparations
Today is a vital rest day for acclimatization, allowing your body to adjust to the altitude and preparing you for the upcoming climb. Take this time to sort out your gear and ensure everything is in order for the ascent.
In the afternoon, we’ll enjoy a short hike in the beautiful surroundings of the base camp, enclosed by breathtaking snow-capped peaks. This gentle exploration will not only help with acclimatization but also provide an opportunity to take in the stunning scenery and appreciate the majestic Himalayas. It’s a perfect way to relax and mentally prepare for the adventure ahead!
13Day 13-Climb to the Summit at 6,189m.
Today is a celebration day as we embark on the climb to the summit of Island Peak! After an early breakfast, we’ll start by scrambling up an open gully that leads between two well-defined ridges of a small hanging glacier at 5,280 meters (17,323 feet). Climbers should exercise caution due to the potential for unexpected avalanches from the ice above.
After crossing the gully, which poses some stone and icefall danger, we’ll ascend a steep snow and ice ramp for nearly 100 meters (300 feet) to reach the summit ridge. The final moves onto the ridge can be challenging, and many climbers opt to leave a fixed rope in place to aid in descent.
The ridge itself is classic, undulating toward the main summit, which we’ll reach via a tricky final snow pitch. Upon standing atop Island Peak, we’ll be greeted with breathtaking views of the South Face of Lhotse (8,501 m.) looming majestically before us.
We’ll also take in the impressive dramatic vistas of neighboring mountains, including Ama Dablam (6,856 m.), Chamlang, and Baruntse on the far horizon. This is a moment to celebrate our achievement and revel in the stunning beauty of the Himalayas! After taking time to enjoy the views and capture memories, we’ll begin our descent back to base camp.
14Day 14-Trek to Tengboche - 07 hrs.
Today, we’ll leave Island Peak Base Camp and the Imjatse Valley behind as we trek back toward Tengboche. Our journey will take us past Chukung and Dingboche, offering stunning views of Ama Dablam, the Nuptse wall, and Lhotse.
The trail descends gently, providing a pleasant pathway as we make our way back to Tengboche. Upon arrival, we’ll check into our lodge for an overnight stop, allowing us to rest and reflect on our recent adventures.
In the evening, you might have the opportunity to visit the Tengboche Monastery, soaking in the serene atmosphere and enjoying the beautiful surroundings one last time. It’s a fitting way to conclude this remarkable part of our journey in the Himalayas!
15Day 15-Trek to Namche Bazaar – 05 hrs.
After breakfast, we’ll set out from Tengboche, climbing to the top of Luvisa and then continuing through the charming village of Shanasa. The trail winds gradually, providing beautiful views of the surrounding landscape as we make our way back to Namche Bazaar.
Upon reaching Namche, we’ll check into a comfortable lodge for the night. This vibrant town, known as the gateway to the Everest region, offers plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy local cuisine. It’s the perfect place to unwind after our trek and reflect on our incredible journey through the Himalayas!
16Day 16-Trek to Lukla - 06 hrs.
This is last day walk for this trip. Walking with great view to the Lukla.
17Day 17-Fly to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel at Kathmandu

Upon landing in Kathmandu, you’ll be transferred to your respective hotel. The rest of the afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure.
