What can you do in Pokhara Tour?

1. Visit David falls: Davis Falls is a unique waterfall that flows directly into a narrow and deep canal which has no end.

2. Visit Guptashwor cave and Temple: The Guptshwor Cave is located near Davis Fall and houses a shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, a primary Hindu God.

3. Visit Tibetian refugee camp: We also tour the Tibetan refugee camp and witness how the refugees keep themselves busy by producing and trading woolen carpets and other handicraft items. This camp is closed to Davis fall

4. Visit Bindabashini Temple: Bindabasini Temple, known locally as Bindhyabasini Mandir. Standing proudly atop a hill, this striking temple looks calmly over the bustling city of Pokhara. The white pagoda-styled building of the Hindu Bindabasini Temple quietly sits at some 3000 feet above sea level along the renowned Annapurna and Machhpuchhare mountain ranges. It is located near the busy Old Bazaar of Pokhara, a center of commerce in the Himalayas.

5. Seti river gorge: The roaring Seti River passes right through Pokhara, but you won’t see it unless you go looking. The river has carved a deep, narrow chasm through the middle of town, turning the water milky white in the process. The best place to catch a glimpse of the Seti River is the park just north of Old Pokhara near the Gurkha Museum.

6. Sunrise trip to sarangkot: Early in the morning we leave for Sarangkot, a hill that overlooks the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges in the north and Pokhara city in the south. From here, we catch amazing views of the sun as it rises in the mighty Himalayas.

7. Sunset trip to world Peace stupa: A famous sunset viewpoint in Pokhara called "World’s Peace Pagoda" offering a long panoramic view of the high Himalayas and Lake beneath the viewpoint with Tal Barahi Temple at phewa lake.

Chitawan:

One of the most popular national parks of Chitwan for wild-life safari and cultural tour in the comfort of nice luxury lodge and resorts, Chitwan National Park the oldest and first park of Nepal covering an area of 932 sq.kms listed in World Heritage Sites since 1984. Lumbini: 

Lumbini is birthplace of siddartha gautam budda, which is 300 km away from Kathmandu in south west direction in Rubandehi District of Nepal. Lumbini is at an altitude of 600 ft. above sea level. Lumbini, respected by all Buddhists. In 1998, Lumbini was declared as the Fountain of world peace and the pilgrimage for all the peace loving people of the world. Siddartha gautam budda was was born in Lumbini in 6th century B.C. Lumbini is most popular destination for tour.

The pilgrimage of Ashoka to Lumbini has also been recorded in a stone pillar 300-325 BC. As a Chinese traveler Wen Seg- tsai, visited this place 300-325 AD he found there the Nativity (Ashoka) tree, a statue of lapis lazuli depicting Buddha's Nativity scene and the marks of seven footsteps of the Buddha, enclosed and covered by lapis lazuli slabs. The Lumbini Tour provides insight into the life of Lord Buddha and the development of Buddhism. There are 62 archaeological sites scattered outside the Lumbini Garden. The tour goes through Tilaurakot, Kudan, Gotihawa, Niglihawa, Sagarhawa, Aurorakot, Devadaha and Ramagrama all bearing significance to the life, enlightenment and death of Buddha.

 

Package plans (Itinerary)

1Day 01-Arival in Kathmandu
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, one of our representatives will warmly welcome you. You will be transferred to your hotel, where you can unwind and settle in. After a brief orientation about your package and the exciting adventures that await you, you'll have the rest of the day to relax. Overnight stay at the hotel.
2Day 02-Kathmandu- Pokhara Drive and city view in evening
Early morning at 6:00 AM, after enjoying your breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel for a scenic journey to Pokhara. You’ll travel in a luxurious AC tourist bus for approximately 6-7 hours, with a lunch break along the highway. You’ll arrive at your hotel in Pokhara by around 2-3 PM. After checking in, take some time to explore the nearby attractions of Pokhara. In the evening, you can choose to visit local clubs and pubs for a vibrant nightlife experience. Enjoy dinner at the hotel, followed by an overnight stay.
3Day 03-Sightseeing in Pokhara
Your day begins with an early morning sunrise tour to Sarangkot, where you'll witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himalayan ranges, including the majestic Mt. Fishtail. After returning to your hotel for breakfast, we’ll embark on a city tour of Pokhara. First, visit the stunning Devi's Falls, followed by the intriguing Gupteswor Cave. Next, explore the Tibetan refugee camp before heading to the scenic Seti River Gorge. At around 4 PM, we’ll drive to the famous World Peace Pagoda, a stunning sunset viewpoint overlooking Pokhara. After soaking in the panoramic views, you'll return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
4Day 04-Pokhara to Chitwan
Your day starts early at 6:00 AM with breakfast, followed by a scenic drive to Chitwan. You’ll arrive around 11:00 AM and transfer to your hotel for some rest. After enjoying lunch, the afternoon features an informative slideshow about Chitwan National Park, covering its history, flora, and wildlife. In the evening, immerse yourself in local culture with a captivating Tharu Cultural Stick Dance performance. Dinner will be served around 8 PM, after which you'll relax and spend the night at the hotel.
5Day 05-Full day jungle activities with elephant ride and jungle walks
Your jungle adventure begins with a briefing from the hotel or lodge staff about the various activities available. Depending on the river's depth and size, you may have the chance to participate in elephant bathing, which is a unique experience. Next, enjoy a nature walk or an introductory trek to explore the lush surroundings. For a more thrilling experience, embark on an elephant safari, where you'll ride through the jungle and possibly spot wildlife. You can also take a jungle walk that includes a visit to a watchtower (machan) for birdwatching and spotting animals from above. Jungle drives are another option, offering a chance to traverse deeper into the park. In the afternoon, engage in more jungle activities for 2-3 hours, making the most of your time in Chitwan's incredible natural landscape. Jungle Activities in Chitwan National Park Morning Bird Watch Tour: Start your day early by exploring the diverse avifauna of Chitwan. Spot various species of birds, including exotic migratory birds, as you stroll through lush landscapes. Machan (Watch Tower) Tour: Visit elevated watchtowers for panoramic views of the jungle. This is an excellent spot for observing wildlife in their natural habitat, including deer and various bird species. Jungle Walks: Embark on guided jungle walks to immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of nature. Experienced guides will share their knowledge of the flora and fauna, making it an educational experience. Nature Walks: Enjoy leisurely strolls through the serene surroundings, where you can appreciate the natural beauty and tranquility of the park. Elephant Safari: Ride on the back of an elephant for a unique safari experience. Traverse through the jungle, providing a different perspective for spotting wildlife. Elephant Briefing and Bathing: Learn about the elephants and their care from trained staff. Participate in bathing the elephants, an enjoyable and memorable experience that lets you connect with these gentle giants. Jeep Safari: For a more extensive exploration, take a jeep safari. This allows you to cover larger areas of the park and increases your chances of seeing diverse wildlife, including rhinos and possibly even tigers. These activities provide a thrilling way to experience the rich biodiversity of Chitwan National Park!
6Day 06-Chitwan to Lumbini
Early in the morning at 6:00 AM, after enjoying breakfast, we will embark on a drive to Lumbini, the birthplace of Gautam Buddha. The journey will take approximately five hours, and we expect to arrive around 11:00 AM. Upon reaching Lumbini, we’ll check in to our hotel before setting out to explore the sacred area. Our visit will include the Maya Devi Temple, where Buddha was born, and the historic Ashoka Pillar, erected by Emperor Ashoka in 249 BC. We'll also take the time to visit several renowned international monasteries, each showcasing unique architectural styles and cultural significance. After an enriching day, we’ll return to the hotel for an overnight stay, reflecting on the spiritual journey we’ve undertaken.
7Day 07-Lumbini to Kathmandu
After breakfast, we will depart for Kathmandu, embarking on an 8-hour drive through the scenic landscapes of Nepal. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel, where you can relax and unwind after the journey. Enjoy the evening at your leisure, perhaps exploring the vibrant surroundings or savoring local cuisine before preparing for your departure the following day.
8Day 08-Departure
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you will either depart for the airport for your onward flight or discuss your next plans in Nepal. We hope you had a wonderful journey and created lasting memories! Safe travels!
