This challenging ascent requires climbers to be in excellent physical condition and possess a high level of stamina. To ensure participants are well-prepared, we provide comprehensive climbing training led by experienced guides. During this training, climbers will learn essential techniques such as using crampons, ice axes, and ropes under expert supervision.

In addition to the technical skills, Chulu West Peak rewards climbers with unparalleled scenic vistas, featuring breathtaking views of prominent Himalayan peaks like Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and Annapurna. Day 6: Trek from Chamje to Bagarchhap (2,080m/6,824ft) 6 and half hours

Day 7: Trek from Bagarchhap to Chame (2,720m/8,923ft) 5 hours

Day 8: Trek to Pisang (3,060m/10,039ft) 5 hours

Day 9: Pisang to Manang (5-6hours) 3,450m/11,316ft

Day 10: Manang to Yak Kharka (4,110m).

Day 11: Yak Kharka to Chulu West Peak.

Package plans (Itinerary)

1Day 01-Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel
Upon your arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, one of our representatives will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. After you settle in and freshen up from your long flight, we will convene at our office for a detailed briefing about your upcoming trip. During this meeting, you’ll have the opportunity to meet your trekking guide, discuss important details, and process the necessary trekking permits. If you arrive late at night, we will conduct this briefing the following morning after breakfast.
2Day 02-Preparation for the Program and sightseeing tour of Kathmandu
After breakfast, a knowledgeable city tour guide will pick you up from your hotel for an exciting sightseeing tour of the Kathmandu Valley. You’ll visit the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, a significant Hindu site, and the stunning Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, both of which are UNESCO World Heritage sites. Once your tour concludes, you'll return to your hotel, where you’ll have some free time to explore the local area further. Enjoy dinner at a nearby restaurant before settling in for the night at your hotel.
3Day 03-Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar (760m/2,493ft) 7 hours
Your journey begins early in the morning after breakfast, when our guide will meet you at the hotel for departure. Today, we aim to reach Besisahar via the Prithvi Highway. The road will take us north to Besisahar, passing alongside the Trishuli River and then the Marshyangdi River. This scenic drive offers breathtaking views of mountains, rivers, waterfalls, and lush jungles, as well as terraced farms and charming villages nestled in the hills. Upon arrival, you’ll stay overnight at a comfortable lodge in Besisahar, where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
4Day 04-Trek to Bahundanda (1,398m/45,86ft) 6 and half hours
On this first day of trekking, we’ll set off early in the morning after breakfast. The walk begins with an easy stroll along a dusty road heading north through the valley. We’ll reach Bhulbhule and cross the suspension bridge over the Marsyangdi River, where we can enjoy views of Mt. Manaslu and Nagdi Chuli, along with several cascading waterfalls and charming Gurung villages. Finally, we’ll arrive at Bahundanda, where we’ll spend the night. Enjoy the local hospitality and take in the serene surroundings as you rest for the next day’s adventures.
5Day 05-Trek from Bahundanda to Chamje (1,410m/4,625ft) 5-6 hours
After enjoying breakfast at the lodge, we’ll begin our walk. The trail descends steeply to the bottom of the hill, with some ups and downs until we reach Syange, where we’ll cross a suspension bridge. Here, you can take in the beautiful view of the waterfall at Syange. From there, the trail continues with a mix of gentle climbs and descents until we arrive at Chamje. We’ll spend the night in Chamje, where you can relax and soak in the tranquil atmosphere after a day of trekking.
6Day 06-Trek from Chamje to Bagarchhap (2,080m/6,824ft) 6 and half hours
The day begins with a descent to the river, where we’ll cross a bridge before climbing up along the riverbank to reach Tal Phedi. Tal is the first village in the Manang District, nestled on the banks of the Marsyangdi River. Here, you can immerse yourself in the rich Tibetan culture of the village. After exploring Tal, we’ll continue our trek, navigating a mix of ups and downs until we reach Dharapani village. From there, we’ll proceed to Bagarchhap, where we’ll spend the night. Enjoy the local atmosphere and prepare for another exciting day ahead!
7Day 07-Trek from Bagarchhap to Chame (2,720m/8,923ft) 5 hours
We’ll wake up early and enjoy breakfast before starting our trek. The trail features a gentle climb up to Danaque, where we’ll be treated to stunning views of Mt. Manaslu. Continuing on, we’ll pass through the charming old village of Tyanja and make our way through a beautiful pine forest to Chame, the district headquarters of Manang. After a rewarding day of trekking, we’ll settle in for the night at a cozy lodge in Chame, where you can relax and reflect on the day’s adventures.
8Day 08-Trek to Pisang (3,060m/10,039ft) 5 hours
Today's trek takes us uphill through a narrow valley as we cross a metal bridge over the river. We'll continue climbing to Dhukure Pokhari, a wide valley that offers breathtaking views of the landscape ahead, where we’ll eventually make our way to the high pass of Thorong La. After a rewarding day of walking, we’ll arrive in Pisang, where we’ll spend the night in a comfortable lodge. Enjoy the serene atmosphere and take in the stunning surroundings as we prepare for the adventures ahead.
9Day 09-Pisang to Manang (5-6hours) 3,450m/11,316ft
In Manang, you'll experience a cold, dry climate that shapes a unique and challenging environment. The village offers breathtaking views of the towering Himalayan peaks and serves as a gateway to explore the rich customs and traditions of the Manangi people. This is an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in their traditional lifestyle and cultural practices. As the day comes to an end, you’ll enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at a local lodge, surrounded by the stunning beauty of the mountains. It's the perfect setting to reflect on your journey and prepare for the adventures that lie ahead.
10Day 10-Manang to Yak Kharka (4,110m).
We will trek northwards to Yak Kharka, where breathtaking views of Annapurna, Gangapurna, and Tilicho Peak await. This picturesque route offers stunning mountain scenery and a chance to immerse yourself in the serene landscape. Upon arrival, we'll spend the night in a cozy local guesthouse, providing a perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the Himalayas.
11Day 11-Yak Kharka to Chulu West Peak
Today, we will embark on our trek to the base camp of Chulu West Peak. This journey will take several hours as we navigate through stunning landscapes and embrace the adventure ahead. Once we arrive at base camp, we’ll set up our tents and spend the night surrounded by the majestic peaks, preparing for the climb ahead.
12Day 12-Base Camp rest day for acclimatization and preparations
Today is a vital rest day for acclimatization. We’ll spend the morning organizing our gear and ensuring we’re fully prepared for the climb. In the afternoon, you can enjoy a short hike in the stunning surroundings, taking in the breathtaking views of the snowcapped peaks that envelop us. This is a perfect opportunity to acclimatize and soak in the beauty of the Himalayas before our ascent.
13Day 13-Base camp to High camp
Today, we embark on a challenging trek to the high camp. This journey will take approximately six hours, pushing our limits but rewarding us with stunning views along the way. Upon reaching our destination, we’ll acclimatize to the harsher environment. Our guide will quickly set up the tents, ensuring we have a comfortable place to rest for the night. Get ready for an exhilarating experience as we prepare for the climb ahead!
14Day 14-Chulu High camp to summit [6419m/21,055ft] and back to base camp.
Today is a celebration day! After all our preparations, we’ll begin our ascent of Chulu West Peak from the west side. The climb will be challenging but incredibly rewarding. As we make our way up the main trail, we’ll finally reach the summit, where we can take a moment to reflect on our journey and the dreams we hold dear. After some time for natural therapy and prayer, we’ll celebrate our achievement together. Once we’ve soaked in the stunning views, we’ll begin our descent back to base camp, where we’ll set up our tents for an overnight stay. It’s a day to remember, filled with triumph and camaraderie!
15Day 15-Base camp to Thorong La Phedi. (5,416m).
After celebrating our success, we'll embark on another adventure to Muktinath. From base camp, we'll trek to Thorong La Phedi, enjoying breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains along the way. After approximately four hours of trekking, we’ll arrive at Thorong La Phedi, where we can relax and unwind. We'll spend the night in a cozy local lodge, preparing for the journey ahead.
16Day 16-Trek to Muktinath via Thorang La (3,760m/12,335ft) 8 hours
Today’s adventure begins early as we prepare to cross Thorong La Pass. We’ll start before sunrise, and if we stayed at Phedi, we’ll rise an hour earlier to ensure we reach the top by 10 AM—ideal before the winds pick up. After a short break for photos and to soak in the breathtaking views, we'll begin our descent towards Muktinath, where we'll enjoy the stunning landscapes along the way. It’s a long but rewarding trek down, leading us to our destination.
17Day 17-Trek to Jomsom (3,500m/11,482ft) 6 hours
On this final day of our trek, we'll journey through the beautiful Kaligandaki Valley, following the banks of the holy river. Keep an eye out for Shaligram fossils, considered sacred and associated with Lord Vishnu. Our path will lead us to Jomsom, where we’ll settle in for the night at a cozy lodge, reflecting on our incredible adventure in the Himalayas.
18Day 18-Fly to Pokhara and drive to Kathmandu
Rise early for a transfer to the airport, where you'll catch the first flight to Pokhara. This scenic flight offers breathtaking views of the world's deepest gorge, nestled between the majestic Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Upon landing in Pokhara, you can either drive back to Kathmandu or choose to extend your stay and explore more of this beautiful city. If you decide to stay, we can assist with accommodation arrangements. Enjoy your evening and overnight at the hotel.
19Day 19-Rest day or shopping day at Kathmandu

20Day 20-Departure day
Today marks the end of your adventure. If you're interested in extending your holiday, we're here to help with any arrangements you may need. Otherwise, we’ll assist you in getting to the airport in time for your departure flight. Thank you for traveling with us, and we hope to see you again!
